For our Audiovisual Staging course, we were tasked with creating a short film and the accompanying making off video.
This was the first film project that I ever had the opportunity to work on, so I had to figure out the whole process pretty much all by myself.
I worked together in a group consisting of myself along with the two co-leads of my game project at the time.
I wrote the concept for the script fairly early on, turning it into a full script within two days, loosely tying it into the narrative of our game, while making sure that it stands out as a work on its own. The next few days after that, I spent working together with my groups cinematographer, creating the storyboard.
Once we got to filming, and I also took on the job of director, calling the shots, setting up the camera and talking to our actor (and editor).
After filming, I provided feedback during the editing process until the film was finished.
